My client is looking for a number of Stress Engineers to commence employment ASAP for approximately one year contract within the aerospace industry.

You must have the following software experience; NASTRAN, PATRAN, MATHCAD & HANCALCS for the FEA Analysis that needs to be done.

You will be working on behalf of a major rotorcraft manufacturer testing tolerances, predicting the stress levels and compiling reports.

Ideally the applicant will be able to demonstrate previous experience working as a Stress Engineer, involved in analysis of metallic and composite structures using standard hand & computational methods.

The following skills required are:

• A strong team player who shows a high regard for client requirements, whilst maintaining design integrity.
• Good communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solver.
• A good understanding of aircraft production methods and processes

All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to a minimum of BC level. Additional restrictions may apply to certain projects.
