Administrator / Purchase Ledger

2 – 3 month contract

  • Do you have Purchase Ledger, Data Entry and Administration Experience?
  • Are you looking for a two – Three month contract with the possibility of going permanent?
  • Are you available immediately?

Duties and responsibilities

As Administrator / Purchase Ledger will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:

  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
  • Process business expense returns
  • Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques if needed
  • Adhoc Administration tasks

Person Specification

  • Purchase Ledger experience
  • Data Entry Experience
  • Administration Experience
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • Self-discipline
  • Good team working skills
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines
  • An aptitude for IT – knowledge of software packages like Excel, Sage and BACS
