My client based in Yeovil are seeking a proactive candidate to join their customer service team for a fixed term contract. (maternity cover)

Main duties will include but not subject to:


Customer Service

  • Monitoring sales inbox where necessary at agreed times of day
  • Process of orders via various media sources
  • Answering calls in a professional manner and dealing with all efficiently and redirecting to the correct areas
  • Communicating to customers regarding all queries including short deliveries, back orders etc
  • Liaising and supporting all departments to help resolve customer issues
  • Assist customers in placing their order
  • Provide Product Information to all customers
  • Follow correct procedures for all daily tasks
  • Prioritising orders based on the areas they are going, or which transport they are going on e.g. Overseas customers, DPD orders
  • Working with other departments to resolve Customer Interaction

Sales Support


  • Proactively calling existing customers to get them to place orders
  • Providing customers prices for their standard list rates using pricing
  • Taking verbal quotation requests from customers and forwarding to the relevant areas
