The busy MD of Red Berry Recruitment is seeking a Personal Assistant who will work closely with her and the senior managerial team to help provide administrative support. Red Berry Recruitment currently have 4 offices situated in Bridgwater, Yeovil, Shepton Mallet and have recently opened a new branch in Cardiff. We are looking for someone who can start quickly in this role and has the capacity of turning their hand to a variety of tasks while being unflappable under pressure.

The successful candidate will be based in our Bridgwater office and work Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm. Due to the nature of this role you must be flexible with your working hours. The salary attached to this role is up to £25,000 pro rata with excellent staff benefits.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Scheduling all meetings, conferences, networking events etc. and adding to outlook calendar
  • Ensuring the MD is well planned and prepared for all her meetings and visits
  • Weekly meetings with the MD to notify you of her whereabouts and a chance to handover any tasks that need completing
  • Typing correspondences, reports and emails on behalf of the MD
  • Taking phone calls on behalf of the MD
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff members
  • Co-ordinating accommodation/travel to appropriate schedule and cost
  • Taking dictation and typing minutes and letters
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
  • Attending sales, management and accounts meetings, taking minutes, preparing minute notes and action points

The Person

  • Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and Outlook which are essential
  • Ability to work off own initiative and effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with colleagues at all levels
  • Well presented
  • Flexibility to work outside of working hours if necessary
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle

Red Berry Staff Benefits

  • Salary up to £25,000 pro rata
  • 22 days plus bank holidays (rising to 27 days – 1 per year of service)
