My highly dynamic client are looking for a Lead  Electronics Engineer on a full time and permanent basis to join their friendly, hardworking team.

We are looking for you to possess the following skills and experience: 

  • Sound practical and theoretical knowledge of designing battery and solar integrated power systems with a view to specifying equipment and designs to maximise control and efficiency at minimum mass.
  • CanBus or similar architecture experience from recent system integration, software skills to support component selection and utilisation.
  • RF and Satcom knowledge to support both equipment selection and integration while developing system operating and bench test procedures.
  • Knowledge of electronic component limitations and potential mitigation when operating in a harsh environment.
  • Ensure design, development and test is documented.
  • Monitor and research emerging technology in support of the project, act as technical interface to suppliers and customers where appropriate.
  • Responsible for subsequent ‘fit to fly’ trials of avionic and power systems.
  • Manage and develop technical support team
