I am currently looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Manager for a large manufacturing company in Wincanton. The Senior Marketing Manager holds ultimate responsibility for the organisation’s marketing activities and overseeing the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the entire company.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Development and implementation of the brand strategy
  • Identify, implement and manage a marketing software platform that increases lead generation, supports and work closely with the sales team to convert leads and proves ROI
  • Partnering with marketing teammates to support revenue growth and develop the way distributors promote products through their marketing
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of the Marketing strategy for new and existing products including campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR
  • Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team
  • Work closely with product management teams to define marketing materials and programs
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve reputation and recognition
  • Develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies for organisation
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Working alongside business unit teams to develop a deep understanding of product offerings and successfully develop, position, package and communicate the value proposition to key client and prospect segments
  • Deploying associated marketing budget to maximise return on investment and return on objectives for the business
  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning, competitive differentiation and storylines for taking products to market through collateral, content, training materials, pitch decks and other sales playbooks/tools
  • Develop segmentation, competitive differentiation, targeted marketing and market opportunity assessments
  • Cultivate and execute on program-specific promotional opportunities
  • Develop and innovate around a multi-channel/integrated marketing communications approach to build new business
  • Continual development and ownership of company websites, catalogues, social media, CRM

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing and will be a professional Chartered Marketer (CIM). You will have a significant amount of relevant marketing experience in a B2B environment. You will be target driven and have strong leadership skills.

This is a permanent, full time position working 42.5 hours per week, offering a very competitive salary.
