Stock Controller & Office Administrator

Yarcombe Office.

This is a permanent full-time role, which will be from 8am to 4pm Monday – Friday.

£18,000 PA

The Role & Tasks:

  • Daily and monthly stock reconciliation.
  • Process customer orders by telephone, e mail, fax and internal memos and accurately enter onto computer system.
  • Liaise with customers and/or their vet to obtain new prescriptions as necessary
  • Process animal prescriptions through computer system.
  • Daily weighbridge duties for incoming and outgoing vehicles including public weighs as per Company procedures.
  • Assist with dispatching outgoing loads and general weighbridge duties such as filing
  • First point of contact for visitors and ensure all Company visitor procedures are followed.
  • Assist Managers/Directors with admin duties as required.
  • Carry out such other duties as may be required from time to time.

The Candidate:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional telephone manner & attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise workload essential.
  • Some knowledge of Health and Safety is desirable.
  • Previous experience within a similar role/s and knowledge of agriculture would be an advantage.
