DEBBIE MORRIS

Debbie has been an HR Generalist for 17 years and in 2014 founded her company, Concilium HR Ltd.  Debbie works alongside employers and HR colleagues across Somerset offering a flexible HR consultancy service, providing pragmatic, practical advice designed to solve those HR headaches, provide an extra pair of hands, demystify employment law and help managers make those needed changes to enable their business to develop or grow.

Topic: Is Performance Management the stick and Employee Engagement the carrot?

One is about driving results, getting more for less and of course the dreaded annual appraisal. The other about having a happy, enthusiastic, motivated and loyal work force. As HR professionals, is it really possible to change colleague’s view of performance management from something which is often perceived as negative and time consuming into something which will truly make a positive difference for everyone?  Join Debbie as she shares some practical tips on how to encourage your managers to engage with performance management to achieve great results!
